Our Dumbwaiter Lifts or Dummywaiters as they are sometimes known, are ideal for a range of catering lift environments.
From pubs and restaurants to dumbwaiters in hotels and small cafes, they are important to many food and drink establishments right across the UK and Europe.
Available “off the shelf” – we can react quickly to your requirements for a new Food Lift.
With lift in stock, we only to need to organise installation which can usually be within 1-2 weeks of order.

50KG Dumbwaiter Lift
The 50kg Dumbwaiter Lift range is offered in two sizes. Both 50kg dumbwaiters are well suited to small catering environments such as Cafe’s, Small Restaurants and Pubs.
Each lift is complete with a centre shelf, additional shelves can be added to create more levels for more items within the lift cabin.
We provide options for a heater and intercom system.

100KG Dumbwaiter Lift
The 100kg Dumbwaiter Lift range is offered in two sizes. Both 100kg dumbwaiters are best suited to larger catering environments such as Hotels, Large Restaurants and Banks.
Each lift is complete with a centre shelf, additional shelves can be added to create more levels for more items within the lift cabin.
We provide options for a heater and intercom system.

Technical Information
Dumbwaiter Sizes
We understand that all projects are different and have different demands, as such require a particular dumbwaiter size to suit the environment. This is why we stock a range of dumb waiters from small to large catering to all situations and premises.
Typical capacities are 50kg and 100kg for most Dumbwaiters, however we are able to provide bespoke sizes and capacities if desired. Usually either 20kg for Documents or upto 150kg if the Dumbwaiter is needed in an industrial premises.

Dumbwaiter Installation
We offer a full dumbwaiter lift installation service, always fitted by two fully trained lift engineers over the course of 1-2 days.
Prior to your dumb waiter lift installation, a full on-site survey should be carried out to check all dimensions to ensure a hassle free installation.
Once the dumbwaiter lift is fitted, the lift will need to be clad around/boxed in by others (usually builder) – as per the picture, the lift is supplied in a structure form.
At the end of the process, the lift needs to be connected to a power supply which should be located on the upper level (provided by electrician) and it is known as a “commission & test”
Following testing, the lift is handed over with a lift manual and lift keys – ready to go into service.
Dumbwaiter Service & Repair
It is important to maintain a dumbwaiter lift at least once per year, this is both to comply with insurance requirements and critically to keep the food lift running smoothly. A busy service requires a busy dumbwaiter lift, if a lift hasn’t been maintained for a period of time it is prone to lift breakdowns and getting jammed.
If the worst happens, we have dumbwaiter lift engineers on standby to react to any lift breakdown whilst in service.
We offer contracts on dumbwaiters to schedule servicing and give preference to clients on contract with us if you need an engineer to be called out to your premises.
